In the Name of Love

In the name of Love, be true.

Don’t want to explain where I’m heading.

Life’s an adventure, don’t know always know where I'm going.

Just know I'm along for the ride.

There's somethings in life you can't plan for.

Tired of repeating the same old story.

I once thought I was bad at love,

Now I know I’m made from it.

It wasn’t until I was contained

That the truth remained.

A lion, looking out, through double window glass pains.

Wanted to be free from the mental cage.

I found myself... well people tried to destroy my reputation.

No one wanted to believe how much birth control

Controlled my body, mind, spirit.

The truth wasn't enough,

My body felt everything.

I carried pain inside since youth.

Finally releasing yours.

But the truth speaks for itself.

I’ve done drugs in my past,

And that was enough to make it last.

Psychedelics opened my eyes to plant earth

Spirit talked to me when I was made of fear

I cried because I was afraid, I heard its whisper.

What was I afraid for? I’m afraid I said.

I said AFRAID till it was just a word.

I heard a beautiful voice say, “there, there it will all be alright.”

mother nature grounded me to earth,

Art reminded me we're all in this together,

My family humbled me to wash away shame in the sand.

Herb allowed me to speak my truth.

Dance let me, let it go.

I’m done paying for my decisions I made years ago.

I am high off life, believe what you wish.

I set my mind free, I hope you do the same.

Cause there’s no one to blame,

It’s all love.

Believe the story I tell you

That I was lost without God’s love

I have been found again.

The angels still guide me.

They were before and they are now.

I’m on a spiritual journey of awakening.

The sun has brought me back its color.

The residents have brought me back to life.

Now I wander, in the journey of life, still feels like I'm dreaming.

Bringing and spreading love is what I intend to do

Fell in love with life again.

Can’t let take this love for granted.

It’s a blessing, everyday is a new day do something with it.

Soak it up like the sun.

All in thy name be true, I choose to serve you

Guide me through your spirit

I’m a native of the land.

I choose to see, be, and breath in love.
